CEA's CEO, Glenn Pomeroy, appeared as a guest speaker in front of several community groups and insurance agent meetings in May and June. As part of an educational tour, Pomeroy is working to inform Californians of their local earthquake risk, share information about potential earthquake damage in California and provide details about CEA's new earthquake insurance options, which help Californians cover the costs for repairs and rebuilding after a damaging quake.
In May, Pomeroy spoke at meetings of insurance agents in Fremont, San Diego, Anaheim, Ontario and Woodland Hills. He also presented information at the North San Diego Business Chamber's Actionable Economics Forum meeting and at a Hayward Chamber of Commerce meeting of the Latino Business Roundtable.
In June, he spoke at insurance agent meetings in Fresno, Sacramento, Pleasanton and Santa Clara; gave a talk at a San Fernando Valley Homeowners Association Marketplace dinner in Woodland Hills; was the guest speaker for Good Afternoon Long Beach; and addressed the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce's Government Affairs Committee.
Pomeroy's educational tour will continue throughout the year. If you're a community member or an agent and would like to have Pomeroy speak at an event, please contact media@calquake.com.
