Chief Communications Officer
Charlotte Fadipe joined the CEA team in 2020 as the Chief Communications Officer. She oversees the organization and activities of the Communications and Public Relations Department and is responsible for planning statewide communications.
Charlotte has more than 20 years of experience in communications, media, and stakeholder relations. Prior to joining CEA, Charlotte held communications positions—most recently in California Environmental Protection Agency as the director of media, and communications for the Department of Pesticide Regulation.
Charlotte has a Masters in Journalism from UC Berkeley. She has also worked in broadcast journalism in California and the United Kingdom.
She enjoys theater, travel, Zumba and music. She has lived in and visited countries in Africa, Europe, and North America.
